We at STADA are aware of the uncertainty that the evolving coronavirus COVID-19 situation is creating. We want to assure you that we are doing everything possible to ensure an uninterrupted supply of high-quality medicines, in line with our purpose of caring for people’s health as a trusted partner.
Working closely with our supply-chain partners and relevant authorities, STADA is taking several measures to safeguard supplies for patients and healthcare professionals of essential treatments such as cancer therapies, transplantation drugs and cardiovascular medicines. Our dedicated staff are ensuring that manufacturing is continuing at full speed at our facilities around the world, with production of essential products being prioritised. We are also working to ensure an uninterrupted supply of raw materials needed to produce our generic and consumer healthcare medicines.
While supporting healthcare systems is a key priority for STADA in these challenging times, so too is protecting the health and well-being of our employees. To assist social distancing and help mitigate the spread of the virus, all of our colleagues not directly involved in producing, testing and dispatching medicines are now working remotely. All non-essential travel and in-person meetings have been suspended. As we can‘t visit doctors, clinics or pharmacists face-to-face at the moment, we are offering round-the-clock support via digital tools such as WhatsApp and LinkedIn.
