STADA Insights - OTC Marketing Lead Diksha
Please introduce yourself and your role at STADA.
My name is Diksha Ahuja and I joined STADA MENA two years ago in 2018. My main responsibility as OTC Marketing Lead is managing the marketing and product management for the Consumer Healthcare brands across the MENA markets. Our key brands are for example Nizoral, Radian, Zoflora and Natures Aid.
What was the moment you knew you had made the right decision to work at STADA?
There was not one specific “ah-ha” moment but two attributes really stand out for me:
The first one is STADA’s growth story. Honestly, I had not heard of STADA until my interview. It was only after I joined, during my first week, I spent a lot of time trying to understand the company, affiliates and the eco-system of STADA, and I realized how “huge” it is. The brands, therapy areas, markets and the immense opportunities really excite me. I enjoy being a part of a growing organization where truly only the sky is the limit.
The second attribute that really stands out at STADA is the fantastic team culture, supportive, inclusive and open, encouraging to think beyond the box, all ideas matter, pushing you to challenge your limits and to get out of your comfort zone. STADA’s culture really leads to personal growth as well.
What distinguishes STADA from other employers?
STADA is currently in a great transformation phase and I saw major changes in the organization over the last two years since I joined. We are highly focused on internationalization – this includes not only our organizational structures and projects, but also our successful brands. The agility and the speed in implementing new ideas and concepts is inspiring and I highly enjoy working in international teams and participating in cross-functional and cross-national workshops.
What does the STADA purpose “Caring for people’s health as a trusted partner” mean to you personally and how does it influence your job?
For me our purpose means that STADA has your back. The focus on people transcends beyond patients, caregivers, consumers and other stakeholders. It is more personal and each of us at an individual level matters. It also is a constant reminder of how the work we do, directly influences the health and well-being of the people around us and it ensures that we do not lose sight of the big picture or get caught up with the daily details.
