Bad Vilbel, Germany – 7 September 2026 – STADA has appointed Diana Wiedmann as Chief Culture & People Officer (CPO), effective 1 January 2027. As a member of the STADA Executive Committee (SEC) and an Executive Vie-President, Wiedmann will report directly to STADA CEO Peter Goldschmidt. She will succeed Simone Berger, who left the company earlier this year to pursue career opportunities in Japan.

Wiedmann has a proven track record as a Culture & People leader, scaling and optimizing organizations with a clear return-on-investment discipline and deep experience in accelerated growth, restructuring, digitalization, and international expansion. She benefits from 25 years of combined experience in Human Resources, Consulting, Strategy and Banking, spanning multiple industries, including pharma and biotech. Most recently, she served as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Partner at Drees & Sommer, a consulting company that offers holistic solutions for real estate, infrastructure and industry.

“Diana combines deep international expertise with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a proven ability to build high-performance cultures that directly drive business performance,” Goldschmidt commented. “I am excited to see the impact her energy and experience will have across our organization and country teams in continuing our growth journey and further delivering on our Purpose of Caring for People’s Health as a Trusted Partner.”

Commenting on her appointment, Wiedmann said: "What drew me to STADA is the energy of the STADA journey and the values-driven commitment to caring for people’s health. I have already witnessed the entrepreneurial energy and operational agility, underpinned by an integrity of purpose and a true One STADA spirit. This is a company with extraordinary potential, and I'm excited about helping to shape the growth trajectory ahead. Among my priorities in my first weeks at STADA will be engaging with our strong in-market teams to explore our many opportunities to continue outperforming the industry across our Consumer Healthcare, Generics and Specialty business segments.”

In particular, Wiedmann highlighted STADA’s established programs to attract and nurture talent, such as through the XLRT high-impact future leaders program that is designed to propel participants into key management roles within two years. “By identifying talents with the key growth mindset, STADA enables colleagues to chart their own path of personal and professional development as individuals that are able to ‘Grow your Own Way’. Being certified five years in a row as a Top Employer Europe, as well as engagement in regular employee surveys well above industry norms, attest to the performance-driven culture on which I intend to build.”

“What drives me is transformation with measurable return-on-investment: integrating business strategy with culture and people strategies that accelerate performance, enable growth and create sustainable value,” Wiedmann added.

At Drees & Sommer, Wiedmann was instrumental in scaling the organization across 51 countries while driving measurable improvements in leadership effectiveness, productivity, and organizational performance.

Her professional experience spans multiple industries, including Pharma and Biotech, as well as banking, engineering and real estate. Before joining Drees & Sommer in February 2023, Wiedmann gained extensive experience within the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, having served as senior vice-president at Rentschler Biopharma, HR Director at Vertex Pharmaceuticals and Head of HR at Aspen Global Incorporated. She also spent almost a decade with Siemens Financial Services, following seven years in senior roles within the German banking sector.

Beyond several positions in Germany, Wiedmann has considerable international experience, having held senior posts in China, Hong Kong and Mauritius. She earned a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wales, Cardiff, and conducted portfolio leadership training at The Wharton School. Furthermore, she leads the supervisory board of heating systems provider Nahwärme Gräfensteinberg.
