Ethical Business Conduct

Based on a strong Code of Conduct and Ethics, we address topics such as anti‑corruption, anti‑bribery, compliance and conflicts of interest. This is supported by a speak‑up culture built on respect, integrity and responsibility.

Our Compliance Reporting Portal is the main channel for reporting unlawful behavior or breaches of the STADA Code of Conduct. It is open to STADA colleagues and external stakeholders, who can submit concerns anonymously. All reports are investigated, and whistleblowers are protected in line with EU rules.

We also check third parties carefully to help prevent bribery and corruption. Under our global Third-Party Due Diligence (TPDD) framework, risk‑based checks are integrated into how we select, contract and onboard business partners.

Responsible Procurement

Our focus on integrity and accountability also extends to our supply chain, where managing relationships with our suppliers has become increasingly important. Alongside our own production, we work with more than 400 Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) and buy raw materials, APIs, excipients, bulk and packaging materials from external partners. Across over 25,000 products, this creates a large, complex global supplier network. Strong oversight helps us  improve environmental and social standards and supports reliable medicines supply.

Our External Supplier Organization (ESO) works very closely with contract manufacturers and is the single point of contact for CMO selection, onboarding and long‑term development. Under Responsible Procurement, we centrally screen suppliers worldwide for environmental and social risks and have systematized ongoing relationship and risk management.

We use EcoVadis to assess supplier ESG performance across Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. In 2025, these assessments covered 93% of our direct annual procurement spend. Around 950 supplier assessments were completed, with an average supplier score of 63. By the end of 2025, suppliers representing around 80% of our spend had also formally accepted our Business Partner Code of Conduct.
